Australia!

The set up!

I am just back from a 3 week mission to Australia, I headed down with the GB Team in time to catch the Australian winter snow! It's surreal really, flying to the other side of the world in search of good snow conditions, and Australia of all places, naturally when I think of Australia I think of the stereotypical, blonde Aussies, surfing and the classic BBQ on the beach vibe haha. However the Snowy Mountains are a hidden gem! Situated 5 hours from Sydney, 2 hours from the Capital City Canberra it's the spot to go on a summer shred mission. Thought I would share a few pics below! :) enjoy.

Taking the Selfie Game to the next level. (backie)

Only in Australia, do you see signs for wallabies, kangaroos and wombats, definitely one of the coolest things to see on your morning commute ;)

Right now I am back in the UK for a week, on Friday night I headed over to London to meet up with the gang at The Snow Centre for the This Girl Can event, I love everything about that campaign so to be apart of the night as an ambassador was an honour, plus I got to ride myself :)  There was a great turn out of ladies, and the rail jam event went off which was awesome to see the talent we have in the UK.

Excited to Announce my new Sponsor Nutrii

In other exciting news I am very excited to to announce my new partnership with Nutrii, I am really into Nutrition! So this is a great fit! They came down to support the This Girl Can event with samples for everyone, even the boys.... ;) haha.  It's high in protein, low in sugar so it makes for a perfect post shred, cycle, run, gym snack! Make sure you check them out in Whole Foods. :)

This weekend we see the 3rd anniversary of Nelsons Tour De Test Valley. It's an amazing event raising money for the charity C.A.L.M in memory of a great friend, a true gentlemen, an amazing snowboarder and an inspiration to me and my snowboard career. I will be cycling the 50 miles! Team Vans have set up a fund raising page here so if you can donate in anyway to this cause, please do here.

Here's me out on the Mango, getting muddy in the Surrey Hills!

I haven't managed to get much cycling in before the ride as I was snowboarding in Australia, however I did manage to get a 25 Miler done this weekend! So it's on. Bring on a great day for Nelson, dedicated to food, cycling and good times.

Stay tuned for the next missions!

Aimz.
