Hey so some of you may wonder why I appear to be cruising around Cali and not snowboarding…

Well right now I am in Mammoth, I came out here with the intentions of riding, but the bruised heel from X Games has continued to give me some grief, so I decided to stay out here, enjoy the mountains, rest up the foot and do a little fitness!

In the gym in Mammoth we have had the honor of meeting fellow brit Mara Yamauchi! She is over here altitude training in preparation for the London 2012 Olympics. So cool to meet her and hear some of her stories, super inspiring! Can’t wait to watch her compete on the 5th of August in London! Check out her blog here ….

As Mammoth mountain is geologically active there are tons of hot springs !it’s crazy to go and sit in an all natural volcanic tub! sessions have become frequent out here! Pretty much going down every other day!

Nate + Woodsy are out here camping so we headed to there’s one night for a …. Hobo dinner, pretty much one of the tastiest things on the market. I highly recommend it, thanks LADS!

Sorry for the lul in updates, been on the road and having soo much fun riding again.

Last weekend I was over in Scotland for the Big Bang snowboard show, it was rad to be in Scotland and catch up with all the British crew, I never really get to ride in the snowdome so I had some fun cruising! I also held a coaching session with the one and only Ms Jennifer Jones, It was a Roxy all girls session and we had 20 plus girls, so a great turn out and the girls killed it!

Cooler mag came out a couple of days before the Big Bang… great success at the Roxy stand!

After Scotland I missioned it over to Munich, and now im in Hintertux with Cheryl Maas. THE 2011/12 season has STARTED! We have had an epic week so far, 4 days of perfect sun.

The big kickers have been on ! and so have the huck sessions out of the pipe into the slush!

The park is on point right now! 2 big jumps, midi and small line, perfect for progression!

Its been rad to get on the big jumps and get my tricks back and also to try some new things while the snow is still soft.

Hintertux is so sick this time of year, after riding there has been football matches and pretty much the whole of the snowboard scene have been down in Mayrhofen, so far it seem’s that the Dutch have the edge on the rest of us though.

Yesterday I shot up on the mountain with Italian photographer Elonora Raggi, we also cruised down into town with Enni and Roope to do some lifestyles.

The bad weather is coming in tomorrow, so Its going to turn from summer to Winter over night!

The Oneill Evolution semi’s went down today, I qualified in 3rd out of the 20 riders in the semis for the Finals.

Finals kicked off at 2 and I put down 2 safe runs, and on my 3rd I went for the back 7, put it to my feet and then skidded out.

SOOO stoked on my result, I finished in 5th Place overall, my best 6* TTR result.

It has been such a fun week in Davos, straight after the event I drove to Laax for the BEO! I am Just back from Dinner with my team manager Lesley Mckenna aka LESLO and super grom Ms Ormerod, she killed it today massive shout out to her 2nd in the Junior Jam.

Just found out that I have been put up as a nominee for European female Rookie rider of the year by Snowboarder Monster Backside Magazine. Check it out here and cast a vote for the Brits. Jenny Jones is also up for female rider of the year and best video part! So check it out.

First contest of the 2010 season, I went to Avoriaz France for a week with family which was really fun just cruising around and getting back into riding after my but injury! I drove with Gilly Seagrave from Morzine to Saalbach Hinterglum for 10 hours to the Roxy Chicken Jam in Austria. I am staying with all the Roxy girls in an awesome hotel, have had a great few days riding and today was the semi finals. I finished in 11th place which is my best result to date in a 6* TTR. That has put me in TTR ranking numero 12, stoked! My run consisted of a switch boardslide on the rainbow box into a backflip, into a back 3 mute, then into a nollie front flip off the up box! Shout out to Enni Rukajärvi, who is killing it and finished in 1st place! Hopefully I will have some more pictures to go up after the event! For now here is a picture of me and my girl Silje Norendal on the poma, now it is time to party, and then heading to the European Open tomorrow, ROAD TRIP!
