EURO X – Tignes
So Euro X games wrapped up last week, and it was a blast. Sun, baguettes, cheese, and a great slopestyle course what more does one want when in France? Officially my last contest of the season was the World Cup in Sierra Nevada, Spain but unfortunately it was cancelled 2 days ago. So here is the low down from Tignes and a few behind the scenes snaps of what went down!
First off. Got my double down… watch it HERE X games run numero 3.

Me hyped to land my run and the Buaas just bossed 3rd place on the podium.
Congrats to all the girls, Silje Norendal for taking home the WIN. So exciting to be part of the most progressive contest this season. Thank you all so much for the support slopeside and online, insane! So buzzing.
Now the contest season is a wrap it’s time to enjoy the spring and get a little filming done. Stay tuned, it’s going to be a fun few weeks on the road.

Into the Outback.
I am just back from a week in the American outback. I headed down there with John Roderick the master behind a camera, Jenny Jones, Celia Miller and we had the pleasure of being joined by the photo boss Zach Hooper.
It was rad to be out of the park for a week, and out in the back country mixing it up.
Here are a few behind the scenes shots from the trip, make sure to tune back in, we filmed a TV show down there for Outside Television and I am also working on a series of webisodes with Roxy and Red Bull so stay tuned, excited
Day 1. Blue bird and the first beast getting built. Zach spakling the jump.
Day 3 a session went off on a natural feature till the Jones came down and created the Jennalanch, luckily I was standing right in her wake as the slab broke. Everyone A okay… first mini avalanche experience.
Just a few kids playing in the streets
we made an awesome little street course with hips and jib obstacles, not a car in sight.
Street session in town when the storm rolled in. Getting stale on a mini hip. (Photo Ben B)
Street session 2. Wee backie over the Jones.
The Jussi Oksanen jump, really pumped to get some tricks on this bad boy.

I am now back in Breckenridge after a 6 hour mission back last night, I got caught in my first mini slide yesterday, scary business. I went up on a mission to get some more shots in the bag, first hit off the kicker and when I landed the slope released and came crashing down behind me, luckily I split off to the side and noone was caught in it. I think we got out of there at a good time with all the new snow falling down there it needs a reset.
Check back for more US Open business next week!

ISPO + EURO OPEN
I am currently sat on the plane! After a week on the road, that started out in Munich Germany for ISPO! Roxy flew us out there for the gigantic tradeshow. Don’t think I have ever seen anything quite like it you literally cannot walk from one stand to the other without bumping into someone you know. The Roxy stand was next level impressive, so myself and Kjersti Buaas hung out, did some interviews took a few photos and entertained ourselves in the meca that is ISPO!
Roxy put us up in an insane hotel, it was so nice that when I arrived with Lesley Mckenna our Roxy TM we thought it was a museum, then a potential art gallery so we actually drove past it 2x haha! And then walked in and asked if it was a hotel.
HERE ARE a few pics from our antics!
ISPO interviews
Next stop was the EUROPEAN OPEN (POWDER) WIND (INTERVIEWS) AND FOAM PITS!
So we got up mega early to hit the road, and battle the snowy conditions to make it to LAAX, Switzerland in time for practice, however day 1 practice cancelled SNOW, day 2 practice cancelled SNOW + WIND, Wednesday we got on the course for an hour, and then come game day… yesterday we woke up to Blizzard like conditions so unfortunately the contest had to be cancelled a real shame as they had done a great job on the course and I was loving it.
Whiteout park laps. FUN… but white.
Burton put us up in the Rocks resort, real pimp apartments, and looked after us so well at the contest, so huge thanks for having me as a invited rider.
I did however ride my first pow days of the season.
Contest day POW LAPS. Roxy Chickz. Katie Ormerod, KJ + myself.
Had a wee jump sesh at the Laax Frestyle academy, thanks to Red Bull Switzerland for hooking that up.
Catching up with Ed Leigh from BBC ski Sunday.
Getting that Hero shot done for SKI SUNDAY!
In other news, today I was meant to fly to Russia for the first Olympic test event, it got cancelled due to lack of snow! Crazy as I mission-ed it back from the US to get a visa in London, the Pipe event is still on, so looking forward to hearing what crazy stories the GB lads come back with! The countdown is on now. 1 year to go.
